Social Media and Wasrag

Check out our Start with Water Facebook site for the latest news, comment, facts and videos on water and sanitation and the activities of Wasrag and its program Start with Water.

Facebook is one of the most well known and most used social networking sites on the internet, with over 550 million users from all different corners of the world.

We are using the Wasrag Facebook site to promote water and sanitation issues and to motivate people to become involved.  Through the Facebook site we are reaching out and building relationships with not only Rotarians, but everyone who wants to make a difference to the billions of people who live without safe water or adequate sanitation.

On the Wasrag Facebook site you will find:

  • Motivational quotes
  • Videos and photos from water projects.

You can use the site to:

  • Share information on projects
  • Comment on water and sanitation issues
  • Promote events and fundraising activities.
