PPP (Project Planning & Performance Team) readies for trip to the Niger Delta

Working in conjunction with PIND (Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta) and Engineers without Borders – USA, Wasrag is pleased to be developing project plans in conjunction with three local communities in the Niger Delta. PIND has been working on community development for a number of years and was instrumental in the creation of Regional Development Committees – set up to represent the communities, their interests, needs and wishes. We will be working with three RDCs in developing comprehensive WASH plans.

The local Rotarians have been wonderful and are helping with the project development. All the team members are excited to meet the local Rotarians and learn more about the Niger Delta region.

The team leaves in early September – which is just around the corner. For now we are busy applying for entry visas, booking travel and ensuring we have all the need immunizations.
